Activities are the templates for your sessions — they define what a class is called, how long it lasts, how many people it fits, and whether it appears on your public booking page. Before you can create a session, you need at least one activity.

Creating an activity

Go to Activities and click + New Activity.
FieldDescription
NameDisplay name shown to clients (e.g. “HIIT Training”, “Pilates”)
DescriptionOptional — shown on the public booking page
Default durationPre-fills the session end time when creating a session
Default capacityPre-fills the session capacity field
CategoryFree-text label (e.g. “Fitness”, “Wellness”) — used for filtering
Difficulty levelOptional (e.g. “Beginner”, “Intermediate”, “Advanced”)
SpaceOptionally link the activity to a specific space
PrivateIf ON, the activity is hidden from the public booking page
Show on public pageControls whether clients can see and book this activity
ActiveInactive activities are hidden from session creation
Set sensible defaults for duration and capacity — they speed up session creation significantly when you’re scheduling a full week.

Public vs. private activities

SettingVisible on public pageBookable by clients
show_on_public_page ON
is_private ON
is_active OFF
Use private for 1:1 PT sessions you book manually. Use inactive to archive an activity you no longer offer.

Editing an activity

Click any activity in the list to expand it. Edit any field inline and click Save. Changes apply to future sessions — existing sessions are not affected.

Bulk actions

Select multiple activities using the checkboxes and use Bulk Delete to remove them at once. You can also Export CSV to download your full activity catalogue.
Deleting an activity does not delete existing sessions linked to it. Those sessions remain scheduled — the activity name is stored on the session at creation time.

Activity categories

Categories are free-text — there’s no fixed list. Use whatever makes sense for your studio. Examples:
  • Fitness · Cardio · Strength
  • Mind & Body · Yoga · Pilates
  • Recovery · Stretching · Mobility
  • Dance · Boxing · Martial Arts
Categories are used for filtering on the public booking page, so consistent naming helps clients find what they’re looking for.
Not currently — activities are sorted by creation date. Renaming them with a number prefix (e.g. “1. HIIT”, “2. Pilates”) is a workaround to control order.
Existing scheduled sessions are not affected. Deactivating an activity only prevents it from appearing in the session creation form going forward.
