Check-in lets you record attendance for a session. A client can be checked in by scanning their personal QR code, or staff can look them up manually. Kiosks let clients check themselves in on a dedicated device without any staff involvement.
QR Check-in is available on all plans.

Check-in page

Go to Check-in in the dashboard to open the check-in screen. There are two modes, switchable at the top:
  • QR Scanner — uses your device’s camera to scan a client’s QR code
  • Manual — search for a client by name or email and pick their active product

QR Scanner mode

Point the camera at the client’s QR code. The app processes the code and shows the result immediately:
  • Success — shows the client’s name, session or product used, and sessions remaining (if applicable)
  • Already checked in — if the client has already been checked in today, this is flagged clearly
  • Error — if the code is invalid or expired, an error message is shown

Manual mode

  1. Search for a client by name or email.
  2. Select the client. Their active products are listed.
  3. Click Check in next to the product to use for this visit.
Manual mode is useful when a client doesn’t have their QR code available, or for checking in walk-ins.

Recent check-ins log

Both modes maintain a live log of the last 10 check-ins during your session (stored in your browser tab, not on the server). Each entry shows the client name, product used, and remaining sessions.

Undoing a check-in

Each entry in the log has an Undo button. Use this to reverse an accidental check-in. Reversing a check-in restores the session credit to the client’s product.

Kiosks

A kiosk is a self-service check-in screen you can open on any tablet or dedicated device. Clients walk up, scan their QR code, and check themselves in — no staff needed.

Setting up a kiosk

Go to Kiosks in the dashboard and click Add kiosk.
FieldDescription
NameA label for the kiosk (e.g. “Front Desk”, “Studio Entrance”)
LocationOptionally link it to one of your locations
Once created, each kiosk gets a unique link. Copy the link and open it on the device you want to use as the kiosk. The kiosk link works without logging in — it is tied to a secure token, not an account.

If you delete a kiosk, the link you shared with staff or posted at the door stops working straight away. Create a new kiosk and update the link if needed.
Each client has a personal QR code available in their client portal (your public booking page → Account). They can screenshot it or show it directly from their phone.
Yes. The kiosk communicates with the server on each scan to verify the QR code and record the check-in. A stable internet connection on the kiosk device is required.
